We're Hiring a Summer Student!

Do you love festivals, fun, and community spirit? Want to be part of the team that brings Quesnel's biggest summer celebration to life?

The Billy Barker Days Society is looking for a summer student to help us prep and run this year’s festival! This is a hands-on, behind-the-scenes role where you'll be part of the crew that helps make the magic happen.

Position: Festival Assistant – Summer Student  

Hours: 35 hours per week, ramping up to full-time during BB Days week
Wage: Based on experience 
Duration:  Tuesday May 20th to end of July

Duties include: 

• Helping with event setup and teardown  
• Assisting with communications, signage, and social media  
• Working with volunteers and vendors  
• A little bit of everything — no two days are the same!

Must be:  

• Energetic and reliable  
• Comfortable talking and working with the public  
• Able to lift, carry, and hustle when needed  
• Eligible for Canada Summer Jobs (must be 15–30 and returning to school in the fall)
